*Spay/neuter assistance: The BDC Humane Society offers spay/neuter assistance to residents of Decatur County. The vouchers make a significant difference in the cost of these services.

 

*Assistance with Rescues: The humane society funds the transportation for animals going to rescues when needed!

 

*TNR program: This is our trap ‘n’ release program for community cats. We provide spay/neuter for the cats without a home and place them back in the community to maintain the cat population.

 

*Urgent medical care: We provide medical care for sick/injured animals in our care.

 

*FREE spay/neuter community events: We hold the occasional event to provide completely FREE spay/neuter surgeries for Decatur County residents. This has been appreciated tremendously by receiving residents!

 

*Enrichment toys: The animals in our care benefit so greatly from enrichment toys to keep them entertained and occupied.
