Meet Kodiak — a big, beautiful 90-pound Pyrenees mix with a solid white coat and an even softer heart. We believe he is around 3 years old. This gentle giant was found on Faceville Attapulgus Road in Decatur County and brought in by Animal Control on 2/12.
Kodiak seems very sweet and friendly, just a little nervous in the shelter environment (and honestly, can you blame him?). He has that classic Pyrenees presence — calm, observant, and quietly affectionate. With some reassurance and a safe place to land, we think his personality is really going to shine.
If you recognize this handsome boy, he must be claimed by 2/15. After that, he will be available for adoption.
If not reclaimed, Kodiak will be looking for a home that understands large breeds and can give him the space, patience, and love he deserves. He’s a big boy with a big heart ready to belong to someone.
