I adopted Bella on Saturday afternoon and just wanted to let you know that she is doing fantastic.  She was very afraid initially but as of this morning, is running and playing with her new big brother "Sonny".  We kept them separated for the first 24 hours to give her a chance to adapt to us all.  By yesterday morning, they were touching noses thru the fence so we put them together.  They have been inseparable ever since.  When I looked out this morning, they were snuggled up together in Sonny's dog house.  Bella has her own but it would appear, they are going to like to snuggle.  We also took them both for a walk yesterday afternoon and she adapted very quickly to being on her leash.

She is extremely affectionate.  She loves to be held and snuggled.
We feel very fortunate to have found Bella and adore her already.

Thanks, Anne

Duke on his way to New Mexico

Duke in North Carolina

Duke has a "special" personality. He's a very handsome boy, with crystal blue eyes. He likes to the the center of attention! He's a world traveler too, well at least the US!  First he went to his foster home in New Mexico, thanks to truckers who helped with transport. When things didn't go the best for him there, hard working Catahoula rescuers found him his new foster in....North Carolina! Where he is doing wonderful now, happy as can be, and so are we!
