As a part of a caring, compassionate community, the Bainbridge - Decatur County Humane Society strives to improve the health and welfare of people and animals. The purpose of the society is the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, the extension of humane care and treatment for all animals needing protection; the return of lost animals to their owners; and to seek suitable homes for animals without owners.

·Adoptable Pets: The BDCHS encourages you to go to the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society Animal Shelter if you are looking for a new dog, puppy, cat or kitten. Featured Shelter Dog Meet Lucy Ricardo! Lucy is a whippet mix who is already spayed, micro chipped, and up to date on all vaccines. She is a very sweet girl that was rescued from another shelter in Florida before being put to sleep. Now she is with us due to her owners not being able to have another dog. It certainly was nothing that she did wrong. All she wants is home to call her own for good. ID#10948	DOG of the WEEK	Dressed for Halloween! Micah Featured Foster Dog Pretty Australian Shepard/Corgie Mix for adoption. “Micah” is estimated to be about a year and a half and is spayed and up to date on all shots. She is about 40 pounds, but is quite overweight, so once on an exercise plan, she will probably weigh around 30 pounds. She gets along well with other dogs, and would make a great playmate. She is shy a round people at first, but will come out of her shell. She is very sweet, happy and ready for her forever home! ID#9147

Long sleeve are $15 each Short sleeve and children's are $10 each	MONETARY DONATIONS Funds are needed for both daily and special needs: veterinary care, spay and neuter, immunizations, shampoo, transportation. When you throw out old stuffed animals, please remember the shelter pets. They LOVE to chew up toys daily.

Animals need exercise and play time.

The Bainbridge - Decatur County Humane Society strongly encourages you to spay/neuter your pets.
