CRICKET & SAMPSON
These dogs were on death row and look at
them now.
Sampson is continuing his love affair with squeaky toys, and stockpiles them
in hiding places so his sister wont take them from him. Cricket usually sniffs
them out though! Nina has taught Cricket to "dance" on her hind legs on
command, and both doggies are able to go through a routine of sit, shake, lay
down, and roll over. We are able to get them both to do it at the same time,
with no treats! Sampson and Cricket have gone from sleeping in their crates
every night to being loose in the house at night, and one of them often sleeps
in my room while Nina lets the other one in her room. They sleep through the
night, and are very cuddly. The are getting used to us grooming them, and both
dogs let us give them baths, trim their nails, and brush them without much
argument.
(Sampson just likes to be touched, so he's the easy one! Cricket can be a
little more difficult.)
We are doing great with our dogs, and we absolutely adore them being a part of
our lives. I have attached some recent pictures of both of them.
Thanks again for bring my sister and I together with our "kids"!
