Ruby
Ruby is a 4-5 month old little, reddish,
mixed-breed puppy at the Bainbridge Animal Shelter. This afternoon
while volunteering at the shelter, I got her out of the cage to walk her
before realizing that both of the legs on her left side are broken
(front and back left legs). She gets around well on the other two legs,
but has clearly suffered a severe trauma. Mostly, she just wanted to
flop into my lap, sit in the sunshine, and have her belly scratched.
NEED
Ruby is not just a good dog, but a _great_ dog with such a will to live and a genuine sweetness. She will be euthanized at the shelter this Monday or Tuesday if no other options are open, but if we can raise enough money to help fund her veterinary costs, we can give her a Holiday Miracle. I have started the fund with my own donation, but I can't afford to pay her full vet bill.
